ASPEN DistriView is a distribution system modeling and protection coordination application developed by ASPEN (Advanced Systems for Power Engineering, Inc.). It enables utility and industrial power engineers to build detailed feeder models—from the substation into the distribution network—and analyze short-circuit conditions to evaluate device duties and protective performance. Engineers can coordinate fuses, reclosers, relays, and other protective devices, visualize time-current characteristics, and document settings with clear reports and plots.
Designed to complement ASPEN OneLiner, DistriView extends protection studies beyond the substation bus into radial and loop distribution circuits. Its workflow helps streamline studies, improve system reliability and safety, and support compliance and documentation needs across planning, operations, and maintenance.
